Day 3 - A Day in the City

This morning, we decided to split up for a bit. Some of us decided to explore Central Park, while the rest stayed back at our place, dealing with Montezuma’s Revenge. Later, we all met up at The Vessel in Hudson Yards. From there, we walked along the iconic High Line, a public park built on a historic freight rail line elevated above the streets on Manhattan’s West Side. We spent the afternoon taking pictures, enjoying the views, and having great conversations. It was a relaxed and enjoyable time as we strolled, taking in the beautiful weather and scenery.
Following the High line we decided to visit Little Island, a uniquely designed island park. Walking there made us hungry and so we all agreed on grabbing some food. New York has many food options and it was a bit tricky to find something affordable and tasty to eat. Further away from the touristy spot we found a cozy neighborhood diner serving a wide variety of tasty dishes.
Feeling like dessert, we thought Little Italy would be the perfect spot for some ice cream. So, we headed there, and since Chinatown was nearby, we decided to check it out as well. Unfortunately, Little Italy was a bit disappointing — the ice cream didn’t look too appealing, and the prices were high. Our adventure in Chinatown and Little Italy ended when we got a message from Timofey, who was at Central since he spent the day with Adrian. So we hopped on the metro to go pick him up. Later we went to Target and finally took the metro back to our place.
