Still a bit jet-lagged but full of excitement, we began our second day in New York with a sightseeing tour led by Adrian. The city was already alive when we set out early in the morning. Our first big stop was the Statue of Liberty, and seeing it up close was surreal. From there, we continued to the Charging Bull, joining the usual crowd of tourists hoping for the perfect photo. It’s amazing how a single statue can capture so much of New York’s bold spirit. Just a short walk away, St. Patrick’s Cathedral offered a completely different vibe, peaceful, majestic, and beautifully detailed, standing in contrast to the rush of Fifth Avenue.
Next, we visited the World Trade Center and 9/11 Memorial. The atmosphere was powerful and reflective. The calm water and endless list of names spoke volumes about the city’s history and resilience.
