Day 1 – New York Arrival

We met at the airport at 9:45 AM, and Noè made sure we had everything we needed. With some time to spare before check-in at 11:00, we each had a chance to do our own thing. At 10:50, we regrouped at the bye bye bar, said goodbye to our parents, and headed for check-in. Everything went smoothly, and our flight was scheduled for 1:35 PM. There was a slight hiccup when David was selected for an additional security screening, but once that was resolved, we were ready to board and finally took off.
After an 8-hour and 15-minute flight, we landed in New York. We collected our carry-on bags and headed to customs to go through immigration. However, we were greeted by an unexpected surprise—huge crowds! It took us two hours to get through, but eventually, we were cleared to enter the U.S.
From there, we caught a bus to meet our Uber, and after another hour of driving, we arrived at our accommodation. Everyone was exhausted and hungry. While we waited for about an hour for Adrian and Diego to arrive, we decided to sort out the room assignments. Noe and David took one room together, Colin and Lino paired up in another, while Jia En and Timofey each got their own rooms. After waiting for about an hour Adrian and Diego finally arrived, and we all decided to order pizza, ate and then pretty much passed out.
