Day 4 - BBQ and Business

On Day 4 we had to get the outfit for Timofey since we would visit Nasdaq, and we wanted to be all polished for that visit, we had to search for a complete business outfit. We started at Columbus Circle. He didn’t find what he was looking for neither in an outlet store nor in H&M. After a stop at an egg sandwich store, we went to Macy’s together, where we finally found the right suit, shirt and shoes. Macy’s is the largest department store chain in the US. They tailored the latter to his size in-store. Interestingly, Macy’s featured a wooden escalator in his building.
After our commute back home with the subway, we left our purchases at our house and headed to Dinosaur BBQ, right on the Hudson River. While we waited outside the restaurant for Adrian and Diego, we explored the banks of the Hudson River, as the restaurant was right there. We captured the beautifully illuminated ship on the jetty and looked towards the coast of New Jersey, where we had already been two days earlier.
When we were finally together, we ordered various barbeque dishes we shared a family platter and an extra menu in between six of us. While waiting for the food to arrive, we unintentionally discovered that the soft drinks in the restaurants also contained tap water, which we quickly noticed from the strong taste of chlorine. There was something for everyone at the BBQ, and the ribs were particularly popular. In the end, everyone was satisfied, so we all made our way home on foot with full stomachs.
